Lauren Gaggioli is a Number 2 Pencil Nerd. At least, that's what her dad nicknamed her in high school because of how much she enjoyed taking tests. After graduating from NYU with a BFA in Theater, Lauren rediscovered her love of scantrons and began tutoring the ACT and SAT throughout Southern California. She is the founder of Higher Scores Test Prep, an online ACT and SAT test prep company, and is also the host of The College Checklist Podcast.

David Singh has worked with schools like Stanford, Notre Dame, and Yale to select and craft interview questions for applicants. He is VP of Strategy and Operations at Kira Academic, where his responsibilities include overseeing the company’s finances, marketing, operations, and new business development. He holds a Masters of Management degree from the University of British Columbia, and a Bachelor’s of Art in Political Science from Huron University College.

Megan Dorsey has worked in test prep and college advising for 20 years and has helped thousands of students get into the colleges of their dreams. She is a graduate of Rice University, has a Masters of Counseling Psychology, and holds a certificate in College Admissions Counseling from UCLA.

Before starting her own consulting business in 2006, Megan was employed by the Houston school district where she developed an SAT prep curriculum and worked as a college guidance counselor. She's held some other interesting jobs such as official SAT essay reader and the college admissions expert for Answers.com.

After taking a no-nonsense approach to SAT preparation and learning many effective strategies of the SAT elite, Shaan was able to improve his score from 1760 to a perfect 2400. The labors of his test preparation offered him the opportunity to receive admission into prestigious universities, obtain over a quarter million dollars in scholarships, and win national awards. Shaan is now the founder of 2400 Expert -- the nation’s only SAT prep developed by a student who achieved a perfect 2400 in high school. He is also currently an MD/MBA student at Yale and USC.

Kwasi Enin just finished his second semester at Yale College. He's the son of two Ghanaian immigrants, born and raised in the suburbs of Long Island, New York. In the 2013-2014 admissions cycle, he was accepted to all 8 Ivy League colleges and was the first high school senior to be nationally recognized for this accomplishment. He's appeared on CNNDavid Letterman's Late Show and spoken at the United Nations building. Now, he's working with Yale School of Management MBA candidate Shaan Patel and his company, 2400expert.com, to become an experienced head college admissions counselor.

Nelson Ureña received a B.S. in Communication after which he returned to Cornell to serve as an Admissions Officer. After leaving the Undergraduate Admissions Office at Cornell, Nelson worked independently helping underrepresented students navigate through the college application process. In 2013, Nelson moved to China, where he continues to help students in the admissions and application process.

Aviva Hirschfeld Legatt's admissions experience is from the Wharton School of University of Pennsylvania, where she reviewed freshman, transfer, and pre-college applications. Dr. Legatt graduated from University of Pennsylvania for both her masters and doctoral degrees in Higher Education, and received her Bachelors in Music Business from New York University.

 

Taking a leadership development approach, Dr. Legatt has advised dozens of students about candidacy building and application strategy in order to obtain the best possible result.

 

Student acceptances include Yale University, Brown University, Cornell University, Columbia University, The Wharton School, Duke University, George Washington University, University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill, Boston University, New York University, Tulane University, University College of London, and University of St. Andrews.
