Daniel Ascher, M.Ed., President of A+ Test Prep and Tutoring, has been a professional educator since 1988. Daniel began tutoring students while in graduate school and enjoyed one-to-one instruction so much that he decided to go directly into the field upon completing his Master's degree.

In 1992 he started A+ Test Prep and Tutoring out of his home. Today A+ has 65 tutors who work out of two office locations, at students' homes and schools throughout the Philadelphia Area, and online. A+ specializes is one-to-one instruction for SAT and ACT test preparation. In addition they provide academic coaching and instruction in all school subjects. A+ serves about 600 one-to-one clients per year and runs test preparation and study skills classroom programs at schools and community organizations throughout the Philadelphia area.

Jane Cassie is the Managing Director and Co-Founder of Loop Abroad, a travel program for high school and college students. She has a JD from Georgetown and a Masters of Education from Harvard, and is the author of "The Everything Guide to Pre-Algebra."

Prior to starting Loop Abroad, Jane taught all sorts of high school and college classes, from cost accounting and media law to English as second language and remedial math. She has scored in the 99th percentile on both the GMAT and GRE and has been teaching standardized test prep for over 15 years.

Dr. Ryan Gray received his undergrad degree from the University of Florida before going on to New York Medical College to earn his M.D. He served in the Air Force as a Flight Surgeon for 5 years and has flown to Iraq, Afghanistan, Turkey and many other places.

In 2012, he and his wife, Dr. Allison Gray, started the Medical School Headquarters, and the Medical School Headquarters Podcast, helping premed students on their journey to medical school. Through the Medical School Headquarters, his group advising site, The Academy, and working 1-on-1 with premed students, Dr. Gray has directly impacted many students ability to get into medical school.

Adam Purucker scored perfect 800s on the SAT Reading and Math sections (only 730 on Writing, but we'll cut him some slack).

He's been tutoring students in SAT prep since he first took the SAT in 2005. He is an alumnus of the Honors College at The University of Maryland, College Park, where he studied Government & Politics. He currently works with students in New York City on a wide range of test prep, including the SAT, ACT, GRE, ASVAB, and Regents exams.

Janine Robinson is a freelance writer, editor and teacher from Laguna Beach, California, who coaches college-bound students on their college application essays. Over the past couple decades, she has worked as a staff reporter for top newspapers, including The Miami Herald and The Orange County Register. She also was the editor of several monthly lifestyle magazines in Orange County, California; freelanced for the Los Angeles Times and other major media outlets; and worked for Internet-based education and news sites, including Entrepreneur Media. She also is a credentialed high school English teacher.

Janine shares advice and tips on how to write personal narratives on her popular blog, Essay Hell, where she helps students learn to craft stand-out application essays for college or scholarship applications. She has written four popular essay writing guides, conducts workshops and webinars, and tutors students from around the world.

Sunil Damle is the co-founder of Mentorverse, a Shanghai-based startup that is using technology to democratize access to high-quality admissions counseling for international students. Prior to co-founding Mentorverse, Sunil served as a college counselor at a prestigious public school in Ningbo, China. A Phi Beta Kappa graduate of Occidental College, Sunil is a strong believer in the positive power of cross-cultural mentorship and the long-term impact it can have on a students success studying abroad.

After interviewing over 1000 college students, David Singh wrote Hitting Stryde: Gen-Y Early Career Survival Guide to share the lessons he learned. He's also worked with schools like Stanford, Notre Dame, and Yale to select and craft interview questions for applicants. In episode 10 of College Admissions Toolbox, he shared his insights on college interviews.

He is VP of Strategy and Operations at Kira Academic, where his responsibilities include overseeing the company’s finances, marketing, operations, and new business development. He holds a Masters of Management degree from the University of British Columbia, and a Bachelor’s of Art in Political Science from Huron University College.

Christine Abrahams has been the K-12 counseling services supervisor since 2008 at the Hopewell Valley Regional School District. Prior to joining the district she was a counselor at Hunterdon Central Regional High School. A former vice president of marketing at Merrill Lynch, she also taught English and English as a Second Language in New York City. She has been an adjunct professor at The College of New Jersey where she taught a class in college counseling.

A licensed professional counselor, Ms. Abrahams has master’s degrees in English as a Second Language from Hunter College and counselor education from The College of New Jersey. She holds a doctorate in educational leadership from Rowan University. She is the owner of the Inspire Institute, an educational consulting firm as well as Whole Life Healing, a wellness/life coaching firm that helps adolescents and adults achieve their highest potential.
